MUNICH (Germany) - Another EuroLeague Women season has arrived and as usual there will be plenty of new faces, with this year's list of leading debutantes arguably more impressive than ever before.

Here are just some of the super talented players who could be ready to light it up for their new teams and put themselves firmly in the center of the EuroLeague Women radar.

You can also vote on who you think will have the biggest impact in the fan poll below.

    Nika Muhl - Sopron Basket

    GUARD

    Birth Date: April 9, 2001 (24 years old) Height: 1.77m (5ft 10in) Nationality: CRO

One of the most popular players in the women's game and with a massive digital following of more than half a million on Instagram, Muhl brings more star power to the competition and the spotlight will be firmly on her. She's back after sustaining a serious injury in last year's SuperCup Women Final with Besiktas. Now she is ready for the reset at Sopron Basket who will benefit from the guard's renowned defensive intensity and team-first approach.

Kaitlyn Chen - ZVVZ USK Praha

    GUARD

    Birth Date: February 22, 2002 (23 years old) Height: 1.75m (5ft 9in) Nationality: USA

Chen is a very interesting late addition by reigning champions ZVVZ USK Praha. USA born and from Taiwanese descent, she's a hugely popular player with a strong following and particularly within the Asian basketball community. She comes to the competition after a successful college career as an Ivy League Player of the Year winner at Princeton and NCAA Championship winner with UConn. Now the guard's ready to win silverware with Praha.

    Dominique Malonga - Fenerbahce Opet

    CENTER

    Birth Date: November 16, 2005 (19 years old) Height: 1.88m (6ft 6in) Nationality: FRA

The towering teenager has already played in an Olympic Final on home soil with France and been one of the standout players of her generation. Her sheer size, athleticism and crazy wing-span has given her the tools to potentially become one of the most dominant centers in the sport as her game evolves and she matures. It's a big step up landing at Fenerbahce, but she will only get better practicing and playing with top players.

Jessica Shepard - Beretta Famila Schio

    CENTER

    Birth Date: September 11, 1996 (29 years old) Height: 1.95m (6ft 5in) Nationality: SLO

A walking double-double, Shepard has been sensational in EuroCup Women across multiple seasons and now she finally has the opportunity to have an impact on the premier competition. She showcased her talent at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 in a big way and even if Slovenia fell way short of their ambition, the center was often unstoppable. Her power, mobility and nose for buckets and boards means she will rack up big numbers for Schio.

Julie Vanloo - CIMSA CBK Mersin

    GUARD

    Birth Date: February 10, 1993 (32 years old) Height: 1.68m (5ft 6in) Nationality: BEL

It's incredible to think that a player with the stature and track record as one of Belgium's leading lights is somehow preparing to make her EuroLeague Women debut at 32 years old. The guard will love the bright lights and intensity of Mersin, having dealt with that same kind of pressure cooker atmosphere previously at Galatasaray. Offering veteran know-how, the highlights reel will also be spinning from her super scoring and creative ability.

Makayla Timpson - ZVVZ USK Praha

    POWER FORWARD

    Birth Date: September 20, 2002 (23 years old) Height: 1.88m (6ft 2in) Nationality: USA

Timpson joins the reigning EuroLeague Women champions for not only a first season in the competition, but for her rookie year overseas. That will be a challenge, but the forward has the attributes to be a success for Praha. Hugely influential during her time at college with Florida State, her defensive skills were particularly well received, but she can also make waves on the offensive end too, so expect an eye-catching return for points, board and blocks.

    Murjanatu Musa - Basket Landes

    POWER FORWARD / CENTER

    Birth Date: May 5, 2000 (25 years old) Height: 1.87m (6ft 2in) Nationality: NGR

A powerful force of nature when she hits top gear, Musa tore it up in her debut EuroCup Women campaign last year at Tarbes. She posted a double-double rookie season with a phenomenal 15.6 points and 13.8 boards per game. A member of the history-making Nigeria team at Paris 2024, she has since won her third FIBA Women's AfroBasket title and is growing in stature at both club and international level.

    Tara Wallack - Sopron Basket

    FORWARD

    Birth Date: July 2, 2003 (23 years old) Height: 1.81m (5ft 11in) Nationality: CAN

Even if Wallack doesn't arrive with a superstar label, there's genuine excitement the Canadian could prove to be a smart addition by Sopron Basket. Her game was transformed in her four years with Washington State where she became a leader and someone at the top of every opponents' scouting report. Skilled and able to make an impact, she should be a scoring presence inside, grab plenty of boards and thrive from being fed by teammate Nika Muhl.

Joyner Holmes - Umana Reyer Venezia

    FORWARD

    Birth Date: February 22, 1998 (27 years old) Height: 1.91m (6ft 3in) Nationality: USA

The former USA youth star and U17 and U19 World Cup winner has averaged more than 16 points per game in EuroCup Women across three seasons with three different teams. Showing good signs in the EuroLeague Women Qualifiers, she could now be about to make a splash in the elite tier. Her strength and scoring touch is accompanied by an impressive defensive side to her game and especially in the post.

Yueru Li - CIMSA CBK Mersin

    CENTER

    Birth Date: March 28, 1999 (26 years old) Height: 2.01m (6ft 7in) Nationality: CHN

History will be made when Li becomes the first Chinese player to compete in the competition, having already impressed in EuroCup Women with Besiktas and Bodrum. One of the leading stars for a China team that has competed at the top level globally, Li is a tough defensive assignment because of her physical stature and skills down low. She will provide a big headache for her opponents and will give Mersin a quality presence in the paint.

    Paula Ginzo - DVTK HUNTHERM

    FORWARD / CENTER

    Birth Date: February 16, 1998 (27 years old) Height: 1.89m (6ft 2in) Nationality: ESP

As well as a EuroLeague Women debut, this is the first season outside of her native Spain, so it promises to be a challenge. However, her displays in the Qualifiers underpin why Ginzo is a nice addition for DVTK HUNTHERM. Fuelled by the confidence of breaking into the Spanish national team of late, which saw an outing at Paris 2024 and FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025, her strength, smarts and efficiency will be priceless for the Hungarian club.
