Big names, big stakes at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Zadar 2026

Elite shot-makers and a hometown hero prepare for another spectacular World Tour showdown in Zadar

ZADAR (Croatia) – The FIBA 3x3 World Tour Zadar 2026 will once again showcase many of the best 3x3 basketball players on the planet as stars from across the globe descend on Croatia for another blockbuster event.

Here are the players you need to keep an eye on.

    Strahinja Stojacic (Ub SRB)

Whenever Ub enter a tournament, all eyes naturally turn toward Strahinja Stojacic.

The Serbian superstar remains one of the faces of global 3x3 basketball and continues to set the standard with his elite shot-making, composure and ability to control games in big moments. Ub arrive in Zadar as the No. 1 seed after another strong start to the season and once again look like the team to beat.

In a tournament loaded with elite talent, "Doctor Strange" will once again be central to Ub’s title hopes.

Worthy de Jong (Amsterdam RABOBANK NED)

Whenever Worthy de Jong steps on the half-court, fans expect highlights.

The Dutch superstar helped Amsterdam RABOBANK secure a top-five finish at the FIBA 3x3 WT Utsunomiya Opener and remains one of the most dangerous one-on-one players in 3x3 basketball. His athleticism, creativity and clutch shot-making make him a constant matchup nightmare.

De Jong has not played in recent weeks, so it will be fascinating to see whether the break leaves him refreshed and ready to dominate in Zadar.

    Nemanja Zigon (Liman SRB)

Liman have looked like genuine title contenders early in the season, and Nemanja Zigon has been right at the center of their success.

He played a key role in Liman’s winning run at the FIBA 3x3 WT Utsunomiya Opener before helping the Serbian powerhouse finish runner-up at the recent FIBA 3x3 WT Manila Challenger. Zigon’s versatility, energy and ability to impact both ends make him one of the most valuable players on the circuit.

If Liman are to go all the way in Zadar, expect Zigon to have a major say.

    Nico Kaltenbrunner (Vienna AUT)

Few players are more exciting to watch than Nico Kaltenbrunner when he finds his rhythm.

The Austrian standout has not seen action since the FIBA 3x3 WT Utsunomiya Opener, making his return in Zadar one of the tournament’s most intriguing storylines. Kaltenbrunner’s speed, creativity and shot-making ability can change games quickly, but it remains to be seen whether he returns fully sharp after the layoff.

Vienna will hope their star guard comes back refreshed as they chase a much stronger World Tour result.

    Denzel Agyeman (Baskets Bonn GER)

Confidence should be sky-high for Denzel Agyeman heading into Zadar.

The German standout earned MVP honors at the recent FIBA 3x3 WT Manila Challenger after powering Baskets Bonn to the win with a string of clutch performances. Agyeman’s fearless scoring and aggressive mentality helped Bonn break through against elite competition.

Now comes the next hurdle -- proving they can carry that momentum onto the FIBA 3x3 WT stage.

    Henry Caruso (United States USA)

Henry Caruso has quietly put together a strong start to the 2026 season.

The experienced American has provided consistency, toughness and leadership for Team USA throughout the early stages of the Pro Circuit. But despite several promising performances, the Americans are still searching for a breakthrough result after falling short of the Semi-Finals in both Utsunomiya and Chengdu.

Caruso will need to deliver another big-time showing if USA want to finally make a deep FIBA 3x3 WT run in Zadar.

    Diego De Blas (Fuengirola ESP)

Diego De Blas could become one of the most entertaining players to watch in Zadar. The Spanish standout brings creativity, confidence and aggressive shot-making every time he steps onto the half-court. Fuengirola continue building momentum as an emerging contender capable of troubling more established teams.

If De Blas catches fire offensively, Fuengirola may quickly become one of the tournament’s most dangerous dark horses.

    Roko Spaseski Baburek (Cibona CRO)

There may not be a player carrying more hometown energy into Zadar than Roko Spaseski Baburek.

Representing hosts Cibona, the Croatian standout is expected to be one of the fan favorites at this iconic stop. The Zadar crowd is always among the loudest and most passionate on the World Tour, and that support could provide a huge emotional boost for the hometown side.

If Spaseski Baburek can feed off that energy, Cibona may have the ingredients for a memorable run on home soil.
