Tyler Stone is on fire
While SL Benfica struggled a lot after winning the BCL Qualifying Rounds tournament, there have been signs of improvement and they definitely have a hidden gem on their roster.
That's because Tyler Stone, a man with plenty of BCL experience from his days at Happy Casa Brindisi, arrived in Lisbon. Stone is 33 now, but he's been unstoppable lately wearing the red-and-white of the Portuguese champions.
The veteran forward had a big game in the BCL, getting 28 points in 28 minutes on the road at NINERS Chemnitz, then following it up with a pair of big games in the Portuguese league.
Firstly, he had 18 points with 4 rebounds against Imortal LUZiGAS, more than good numbers in a game which was a 35-point blowout, and he saved something special for this past weekend.
Stone counted to 37 points in 33 minutes of action against AD Galomar, making 13-of-20 shots from the field, and reaching an efficiency rating of 30.
Now he's ready to take on Bertram Derthona Basket, knowing what to expect thanks to his previous Italian experiences. In his last 11 BCL appearances, Stone is averaging 20 points and 7.6 rebounds , which should make your decision to pick him for this week's games much easier.
Tyler Stone is available for just 14.33 efficiency points, allowing you to build your squad around Benfica's big guy, just hoping he continues his hot streak to finish off an impressive month.
Hidden gems
Marcelinho Huertas is below Stone on the list, available at just 13 efficiency points. La Laguna Tenerife defeated Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands Derby over the weekend, and the 41-year-old had 19 points and 10 assists in just 23 minutes of action.
Another potential steal of this week's draft could be Savion Flagg. Rytas Vilnius's forward has reached double digits in three of his last four games in all competitions, including an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double in the Lithuanian League eight days ago.
Flagg is in single digits in terms of cost in our Fantasy, available for just 9.2 efficiency points.
