Fan Vote: Pick your ''Starting 5'' for France at the World Cup

MIES (Switzerland) - Who do you think will be the first five on the floor for Les Bleus at the World Cup?

MIES (Switzerland) - France is a team that has been producing big-time results at the highest level of competition in international basketball in recent times so it's no surprise expectations are sky high for Les Bleus ahead of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

The country announced a star-studded roster of 12 players in late June. Now, coach Vincent Collet has to put his team in the best position to win it all, a campaign that starts with Group Phase games in Jakarta and hopefully, for France, continues to the Final Phase in Manila.

One of Collet's key decisions will be selecting the starting five.

He has plenty of options, with the likes of three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert, France's All-time leading scorer in the World Cup Nicolas Batum and the explosive veteran Evan Fournier ("The World Cup will be my launchpad") in the team.

The players will make their case for a spot in the lineup when France's preparation games schedule tips off, but in the meanwhile...

Who would you call out as the first quintet for France?

Final rosters will be confirmed following the technical meetings, which are set to take place before the start of the competition. This Fan Vote is created solely to enhance the experience of the fans to show their support for their favorite players.
