Fourteen teams will compete for the title at FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Marseille 2025.

MARSEILLE (France) - Hot on the heels of an amazing stop in Amsterdam, this fast-moving FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2025 travels to Marseille on May 23-24.

Let's take a closer look at the third event on this season's women's circuit.

    The Favorites

We've seen more of Australia this year than usual and that's a great thing. Because the Gangurrus are one of the very best in the business as they've proven by claiming a three-peat at the Asia Cup and bronze medal at the Champions Cup.

Australia took that form into the Chengdu stop, where they stormed to the final only to fall short to the Netherlands. New sensation Miela Goodchild has taken the wheel and become a star in her own right and she'll have to bring it in a loaded field.

No.2 Spain (ESP) will be making their Women's Series 2025 debut, but they've already made a splash this year after finishing runner-up at the Champions Cup. Walking bucket Vega Gimeno reunites with Olympic silver medal winning teammate Sandra Ygueravide as Spain aim to make a statement.

France are also making their season debut and they will be extra amped up in front of their fans. There will be no one more popular than Eve Wembanyama, the older sister of Victor, and she has plenty of moves of her own.

The Frenchwomen will have all they can handle against mighty USA, who boast 3x3 OG Cierra Burdick, in a Pool C blockbuster that could be a preview of the final.

    The Field

There are plenty of dangerous teams in this 14-team draw. 3x3 fan favorite Mongolia are well represented and will show off their rich depth of talent with top seed Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MGL) and Mongolia.

Poland have started the season well with a semi-final run in Amsterdam, where Tafadzwa Mavunga was a walking bucket, while the Netherlands U25 (NED) boast the New Gen of Dutch 3x3.

And if you want a dark horse then look no further than the Philippines, who made an eye-catching run at the Asia Cup with Kaye Pingol cementing her status as an excitement machine on the half-court.

Pools Pool A: Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MGL), Mongolia, Philippines Pool B: Spain , Australia, Orleans (FRA) Pool C: Czechia, France, Gyor Pool D: Poland, Netherlands U25, QD How to watch The two-day extravaganza is on May 23-24 and you can follow it live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube and Facebook pages.
