Japan, on the other hand, will be hosting China at the Okinawa Arena in the heavyweights' first meeting in 371 days or since the third window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers at the Shenzhen Sports Center.
Competing in the third game are Korea and Chinese Taipei at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City, with the former also keen on giving new coach Nikolajs Mazurs a triumphant debut at the helm.
The Philippines and New Zealand will be capping the night off, with Gilas looking to rely on homecourt advantage once more in a bid to upset the Tall Blacks as they will be battling it out at the Mall of Asia Arena.
