Kosovo lifted the title in 2024

    All you need to know ahead of this summer's Division C event in Andorra.

    ANDORRA LA VELLA (Andorra) - The FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, Division C, is one of 16 youth events scheduled for what will be a busy and exciting summer of international basketball.

    The tournament will take place in Andorra La Vella, Andorra, from July 22-27.

    Who is participating?

    The Division C Group Phase

    Seven teams will compete for the title in Division C. They have been split into two groups, one of four and one of three. The Group Phase is as follows:

    Group A: Armenia, Albania, Andorra Group B: Cyprus, Malta, Georgia, Gibraltar

    What is the schedule?

    The Group Phase will occur across the first three days of the tournament, with a rest day on July 25 before the Classification games and Semi-Finals begin on July 27.

    The Final will take place on July 27, with the remaining Classification games also determining each of the seven positions.

    Who were the winners in 2024?

    Kosovo captured the Division C title on home soil, to cap off an unbeaten campaign with a solid 75-65 win over Azerbaijan in Pristina.

    Malvina Haziri, who had previously averaged 6.3 points per game until the Final, led Kosovo with 24 points, splashing five threes and performing when it really mattered. Merisa Bilalli supported with 15 points and Gerta Hoti hit 13.

    Silan Akbingol provided a double-double of 19 points and 12 assists for Azerbaijan.

    Former MVPs

    Despite having a relatively quiet Final with 9 points, Kosovo's Flutra Mehmeti won MVP honors in front of her home fans. Despite the haul, she hit the dagger triple to take the game beyond Azerbaijan’s reach.

    She dropped a clutch double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds against Albania in the Semi-Finals and averaged 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds, with her efficiency rating of 16.8, all team highs.

    Roll of honor

    Cyprus will aim to become the most successful team in Division C for this age group. They are currently locked on three titles with Scotland, while Malta has the most medals overall with 11.
