Wednesday's four-game slate concludes the second week of action in the 2024-25 Regular Season.

    MIES (Switzerland) - Week 2 action comes to a close on Wednesday, which features two Group B games and the remaining game of the second week in each of Group D and Group H.

    ALIAGA PETKIMSPOR vs. FILOU OOSTENDE (Group B, 18:00 CET)

    DeWayne Russell is going through arguably the best stretch of his BCL career
    • BCL newcomers Aliaga Petkimspor won their first game in the competition (85-70 v King Szczecin) and hope to become the first Turkish team since Turk Telekom in 2019-20 to with their first two games in the BCL. The five Turkish teams that debuted in the BCL since then, have failed to win both games.

    • Filou Oostende, who are coming off a 92-85 loss to Unicaja in the opener, have lost their first two games of the season in five of their previous eight BCL campaigns, including the most recent three. The Belgian champions are 0-6 in their last six road games in the BCL.

    • Filou Oostende shot 88 percent from the line and made 28 free-throws last week against Unicaja, the most by any team in this season's opening week. This is also Oostende's new record for most made free-throws in a single BCL game and their highest free-throw percentage in a BCL game with 20+ free-throws attempted, since December 2019.

    • Petkimspor's DeWayne Russell posted double-doubles in points and assists in three of his last five BCL games, including last week against King Szczecin (13 points, 11 assists), after never registering a double-double in any of his first15 appearances. One of his three double-doubles, of 21 points and 11 assists, was against Oostende in November 2023, when he was playing for Oldenburg.

    • Noah Meeusen was Oostende’s top scorer in the first game of the season, scoring 18 points off the bench against Unicaja. No player younger than 20 has scored 15 or more points in each of his first two games in the BCL.

    RASTA VECHTA vs. PROMITHEAS PATRAS (Group D, 20:00 CET)

    • RASTA Vechta have lost their last four games in the BCL (this includes the last three games of the 2019-20 season) after never losing more than two in a row previously. They won however their first home game of their only previous BCL campaign, 89-76 against Anwil Wloclawek in October 2019.

    • Promitheas Patras have lost their last three games in the BCL (this includes the last two games of the 2023-24 season), their longest losing slide in the competition. Nine of their 10 road games in the BCL Regular Season were decided by a single-digit margin, including six games by margins of five points or fewer.

    • RASTA Vechta, who made 12 three-pointers in their opening week defeat at Galatasaray, have made 10 or more three-pointers in nine of their 15 games in the competition. They average of 11 made triples per game at home, the third highest average amongst all teams with at least five home games in the history of the competition.

    • Six RASTA Vechta players scored in double digits in the game against Galatasaray, a joint-high last week in the BCL alongside Hapoel Netanel Holon. However, it was the first time that six players of the same team scored 10 or more points in what was their BCL debut.

    • Kenny Williams of Promitheas scored 14 or more points in consecutive games in the BCL for the first time in his 35 appearances in the competition. He made multiple three-pointers in five of his six road games in the BCL Regular Season.

    FMP SOCCERBET vs. MANISA BASKET (Group H, 20:00 CET)

    • FMP SoccerBet, who defeated Peristeri 70-58 in their BCL debut last week, are hoping to become the first team from Serbia to win its first two games in the competition. This will be only the second time that a team from Serbia will host a team from Türkiye in the BCL, on the previous occasion, in Decembre 2016, Partizan had defeated Besiktas 86-71 in Belgrade.

    • Manisa Basket won 103-97 their first game in the BCL, against UCAM Murcia, setting a new BCL record for most points scored by a team in its debut game in the competition. They hope to become the first Turkish team since Turk Telekom in 2019-20 to with their first two games in the BCL. The five Turkish teams that debuted in the BCL since then, have failed to win both games.

    • Manisa Basket scored 56 points in the paint last week against UCAM Murcia, more than any other team in the opening week and 30 more than FMP SoccerBet, who had 26.

    • Jovan Novak of FMP scored 10 or more points in each of his last five BCL games, a feat he had accomplished in only three of his first eight appearances. He has won each of his last four home games in the competition.

    • Saben Lee of Manisa Basket became on Gameday 1 the first player in the history of the BCL to post more than 30 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in his debut in the competition (36 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists against UCAM Murcia).

    UNICAJA vs. KING SZCZECIN (Group B, 20:30 CET)

    • After winning their opening week game against Filou Oostende, Unicaja have extended their BCL winning streak to 11 games in 2024. If they win on Wednesday, they will tie La Laguna Tenerife's record of 12 consecutive BCL wins within a single calendar year - they won 12 games in a row in 2022.

    • King Szczecin are 1-5 in their last six BCL games and are yet to win a game on the road in the competition (three defeats). Each of the Polish team's last four games was decide by margins of 15+ points.

    • King Szczecin made 7 free-throws in their game against Petkimspor in the opening week, the joint-fewest that week, alongside VEF Riga. Unicaja on the other hand shot 94 percent from the free-throw line (16 of 17) against Oostende, their second highest free-throw shooting percentage ever in a BCL game, after a perfect 16-of-16 showing against Galatasaray in March 2023.

    • Dylan Osetkowski's 24 points against Oostende last week are his new BCL career high (30 BCL appearances so far). The last time the Unicaja big man played a BCL game at home, against Promitheas last April, he posted his only so far double-double in the competition, of 12 points and 12 rebounds.

    • King Szczecin's Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz had a team-high 19 points against Petkimspor, scoring as many points as he had in his first three BCL games combined. He also shot 3 of 4 from three-point range, after going a combined 0-for-5 from deep in his previous BCL games.
