France vs Lithuania - 16.30 CET

France, are stepping out for a jaw-dropping 14th time at this stage and have been here at at every edition since 1999. That streak has also seen them make the Semi-Finals every time since 2009. They will be favorites to extend the impressive run and especially with Janelle Salaun looking unstoppable and Valeriane Ayayi leading so well.

Lithuania are underdogs even if historically only three teams have reached the last eight more often - but most of those previous appearances are a distant memory. A decade out of the picture, they're writing a new chapter. If they cause an upset, it will surely come from the scoring touch of Juste Jocyte and the intensity of Laura Juskaite.

Game history: Both teams have met only once before in the Final Phase, with this year's contest a repeat of the Quarter-Finals they played at the 2011 edition in Poland. France won 66-58 and went on to win bronze.

Star player: Juste Jocyte is a phenomenon. And, despite still being a teenager, will be the one that Lithuania look to for inspiration. She makes the game look so easy, has ice in her veins and will be top of the French scouting report. Key matchup: Valeriane Ayayi could equally be considered as the star player as she hits clutch shots so often in big games. Locking her down will be vital, whether it falls on Laura Juskaite, Brigita Sinickaite or they go bigger.

X-factor: It's awesome offence against impressive defense. France averaged 91.3 points per game in the group phase - the highest since the Soviet Union in 1987. Lithuania have forced their opponents to score fewer than 35 percent field goals in each of their last two games - having only ever achieved this once in their previous 17 games.

    Did you know?

    • France have scored more than 10 shots from behind the arc in each of their last two games after doing it only once in their previous 109 games in the competition.

    • Janelle Salaun is averaging 20.7 points per game and only three other French players have ever averaged over 20 in the group phase.

    • Juste Jocyte is only the second Lithuanian player to have scored 15 plus points in her first three games in the competition. She will try to become the third player from Lithuania to score 15 plus points in four straight games.

Italy vs Türkiye - 19.30 CET

Italy will take to the floor for the 5th time in the Quarter-Finals and their first appearance in eight years. They've lost the last three at this stage, but are currently unbeaten and riding on the high of being crowned Group B winners in front of their own fans in Bologna when they made some huge shots to get the job done.

Türkiye are also back for the first time since 2017 in what will be their 6th appearance overall, having won twice at this stage previously. With every previous game being double-digits in either direction, this might be the first close one Türkiye have played and they will look to continue their impressive performances since they landed in Piraeus.

Game history: Italy have only beaten Türkiye once in any competition previously and they've have not met in the Final phase. They played in the 2017 and 2019 group stage, with both dramatic one-shot games in favor of Türkiye.

Star player: Cecilia Zandalasini has carried Italy brilliantly in this tournament and lived up to the billing as her nation's marquee baller. A momentum shifter and game winner in waiting, can she continue to hold the hot hand? Key matchup: Teaira McCowan and Lorela Cubaj will be immense. The former is the anchor for Türkiye and everything they do on court. An inevitable double-double, can Cubaj and Co shut her down and keep her quiet?

Türkiye have a deep backcourt rotation including Sevgi Uzun and Alperi Onar that could knock Italy out of their stride.

X-factor: Can Italy maintain their controlled and excellent guard play against a deep backcourt rotation of Türkiye? Italy have the least turnovers per game in the tournament with 10.3 and 2nd most steals with 10.

    Did you know?

    • Türkiye made 12 shots from downtown against Greece in their last game, which was their joint-most from behind the arc in a single game in the competition.

    • Cecilia Zandalasini needs eight more points to become the outright 3rd best points scorer for Italy in the competition.

    • Teaira McCowan has had 12 plus rebounds in each of her last three games and no player has tallied 12 or more rebounds in more consecutive games during the last 30 years.
