Since she first came onto the FIBA youth scene, Tomasicka always looked like being a scoring machine and she signed off with a fantastic 24.4 points per game. Her majestic 39-point performance against France was simply outstanding and perhaps just as impressive was being the second most efficient player in the entire competition.

    Cristina Osazuwa - Italy

    CENTER

    Birth Date: January 13, 2005 (20 years old) Height: 190cm / 6'3" Tournament Stats: 17.0 EFF, 14.0 PPG, 7.9 RPG

Osazuwa dropped anchor for Italy at both ends of the court and was the main architect of her team securing back-to-back bronze medals at the event. The strength of the center under the basket was a standout feature of their play and few opponents could live with her powerful approach as she showcased her potential in a big way.

Her energetic approach set the tone, with her 36 points and 16 rebounds against Latvia one of the best displays in Matosinhos. Swedish fans will love seeing her elevated to senior action.

    Birth Date: April 4, 2005 (20 years old) Height: 188 cm / 6'2" Tournament Stats: 20.4 EFF, 17.9 PPG, 11.1 RPG

Always expected to be a standout leader from day one for Türkiye, Istanbulluoglu read the script perfectly with a string of super performances across the competition. Her tournament double-double of 17.9 points and 11.1 boards per game could have seen her flirting with All-Star Five status had her team not fallen short in the Quarter-Finals.

    Marina Mata - Spain

Even if she didn't lock down a place in the All-Star Five, the importance of Mata's role should not be overlooked. She was a rock for the title winners and they founded a big chunk of their golden run on her stunning shooting of 72.5 percent. She did such great work in the paint, took great shots at the right time and was diligent in defense.

Coming into the tournament with expectation and pressure on her shoulders, the forward demonstrated her skills to brilliant effect and helped Sweden post a memorable run to the Semi-Finals. History was very much a team effort for Lithuania as they attained their best ever finish at the event. While Paunksnyte grabbed a deserved All-Star Five spot, it was their other 'twin turbo' in Aukstikalnyte who also played a leading role. Her scoring prowess and defensive work with almost 3 steals per game were critical and impressive.

    Gal Raviv - Israel
