    MUNICH (Germany) - Another memorable summer of FIBA Youth EuroBasket action is in the books, with champions crowned across all six Division A tournaments and the promotion and relegation picture now complete.

    Slovenia ultimately came out on top of the medal table after a superb campaign that delivered two titles and another appearance in a Final.

    Their success was built on a dominant run in the men's competitions, with Slovenia lifting both the FIBA U18 EuroBasket and FIBA U20 EuroBasket trophies before adding a runner-up finish at the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket.

    Spain matched Slovenia's haul of two titles and finished with five podium finishes overall. Their titles came in the women's events, as they triumphed at both the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket and FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket, while also adding three bronze medals across the summer.

    France were another constant presence on the podium, with five medals from six tournaments. Their FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket title was accompanied by two runner-up finishes and a two bronzes to leave them third in the overall standings.

    Latvia were the only other nation to strike gold, making history by winning the FIBA U16 EuroBasket for the first time.

    Israel, Italy, Serbia and Finland also enjoyed podium finishes during the summer, completing the list of eight nations to do so across the six Division A tournaments.

    The summer also brought plenty of movement between Divisions A and B, with promotion and relegation places confirmed ahead of next year.
