    BRNO (Czechia) - It was a devastating display of talent and power as USA beat their own record at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup by setting a new high tide mark for points scored in a single game.

    They were rampant against Korea as they won 134-53 to beat their previous best against the same opponents two decades ago and against Chinese Taipei in 2021.

    After Emilee Skinner got the basket that tied the record on 129, she then had the honor of scoring again to make it a record-breaking night - before Maddyn Greenway added some extra sauce in the closing seconds with an additional score.
