LA PALMA (Spain) - Belgium, Finland, holders France, and hosts Spain qualified for the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket Semi-Finals after an exciting round of Quarter-Final action.
In addition to the Quarter-Finals, the Classification Round for positions 9-16 also commenced, with Hungary, Slovenia, Czechia, and Latvia all securing victories. The losers now fight to avoid relegation to Division B next year.

Latvia secured a 56-49 victory over Greece with evergreen Anna Liepina further showcasing their incredible talent on the international stage. Liepina had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the foul line as she scored an efficiency rating of 27.
Hosts Spain rolled on to the last four as the home fans were treated to a dazzling 89-65 win over Serbia. Sara Okeke led the way with eight offensive rebounds, and 10 overall, along with 18 points and 5 assists as Spain led from start to finish as they prepare for a rematch of last year's Final against France in the Semi-Finals.
It wasn’t meant to be for Israel as they lost 61-50 to Slovenia in their Classification Game for 9-16. However, Maya Zilbershlag put the team on her shoulder in an attempt to secure the win. She posted a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds on 45 percent shooting for an efficiency rating of 24.
Czechia overcame Portugal 62-37 in their Classification Game for 9-16, with Nikola Kubinova providing her team with a superb performance. The forward had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals, shooting a solid 62 percent from the field and obtaining a rating of 23 in the win.
Holders France marched into the Semi-Final as a 27-8 first-quarter lead set the tone for an eventual 72-34 victory over Italy. Three players led the French with 15 points, with one of those being Emma Broliron, who added 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal to her statsheet.
