Sondore has lived up to her high billing heading into the tournament with a couple of fine performances for Latvia who were relieved to get a first win at the third attempt. The forward missed a beat against Spain, but overall has shown her potential with some tremendous composure and shot selection, as well as excellent work on the glass.
Iva Tabak - Croatia

Having starred at the 2024 edition, it's been a typically vibrant display so far from Tabak, although she was unable to play on opening day. The centerpiece of an up and down Croatian team, the winger has done it all. Her action-packed effort and classy double-double against Israel delivered their only win so far and now there's more to do.
Claudia Lostal - Spain
FORWARD

Heading into the competition, Lostal was never going to be about huge numbers and stats - but leadership and her overall performances. So far, the forward has delivered and is on course to turn up the dial and could end up with a tournament double-double. The main piece for title-chasing Spain, her super smart and efficient approach is vital.
Camille Sevaux - France
FORWARD
Birth Date: April 29, 2009 (16 years old) Height: 6ft 1in / 1.87 cm Tournament Stats: 14.7 EFF, 14.3 PPG, 8.7 RPG
France had to soak up a surprise loss to Serbia and if they recover and ride their way to the podium, then Sevaux could be a driving force. The forward had a slow start, but heads into the Round of 16 looking for a third straight double-double. Her numbers would have been even more impressive had she not struggled from downtown so far.
Carla Koch - Germany
GUARD
Birth Date: December 29, 2009 (15 years old) Height: 5ft 11in / 1.81 cm Tournament Stats: 11.3 EFF, 15.7 PPG, 2.0 SPG
Germany looked stacked heading into this edition and so it has proved. They were just one basket away from being 3-0. It was always a matter of who could shine brightet and it has been Koch who has emerged as a top performer from her team. Her shooting prowess and especially from long-range has been a standout feature of her play.

It's been a really tough first phase for Israel after suffering three comprehensive losses, but the one big shining light is their star baller. Gorin is the second highest scorer in the tournament with 17 points per game and has also worked hard in other areas. She leads her side in steals and has a productive 5.7 rebounds and 3 assists per outing.
Isey Guttormsdottir-Frost - Great Britain

The highest scorer in the tournament, Guttormsdottir-Frost has dropped 17.3 points per game and that offensive threat has helped ease some tough moments for winless Great Britain. Also snapping up 4 rebounds and 2 steals per game, the guard has proven herself as the biggest influence, but will expect even more defensive attention.
Isabel Hassan - Italy
FORWARD
Birth Date: June 14, 2009 (16 years old) Height: 6ft 1in / 1.86 cm Tournament Stats: 16.0 EFF, 12.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.0 APG
The strength, poise and powerful rebounding of Hassan has been on display from the outset and if Italy make a deep run, the forward will be the one to dropsanchor in the paint and underpin the success. Approaching a tournament double-double, she's second in the competition for efficiency and it speaks volumes about her game.
