MUNICH (Germany) - The race to be crowned Europe's top youth basketball nation is underway as another busy summer of FIBA Youth EuroBasket action continues.
Slovenia have made the strongest start, winning the FIBA U20 EuroBasket and FIBA U18 EuroBasket titles to move clear at the top of the medal standings.
France are the only other nation to have lifted a trophy this year after celebrating success at the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket.
Meanwhile, Israel, Italy, Serbia and Spain are the only other nations to have also collected podium finishes.
With three Division A tournaments still to be played, the race for the top spots in the medal table remains wide open.
