    RIGA (Latvia) - The first step of the Final Phase at the EuroBasket 2025 is now behind us with memorable Round of 16 producing some big upsets and games to remember.

    In eight games across two days, stars once again came out on the floor and delivered performances in accordance with their status.

    It's an early end for the likes of Nikola Jokic and Kristaps Porzingis who earned their last entries into the Top Performers lineup, but some others like Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo earned their chance to continue to impress again.

    Another day, another Luka Doncic's historic EuroBasket performance. The Slovenian sensation continued with his historical campaign as he poured in 42 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals in Slovenia's 84-77 win over Italy that saw them punch their Quarter-Finals ticket.

    Doncic had 22 in the first quarter already and reached a number of milestones with that memorable outing.

    Luka Magic strikes again: Doncic's 42 sends Slovenia through

    Kristaps Porzingis' tournament came to a bitter end as Lithuania won the Baltic derby 88-79 to eliminate hosts Latvia. The Unicorn, however, left his heart in soul on the floor with a monster double-double of 34 points and 19 rebounds along with two blocked shots, alas all in vain.

    It was similar for Nikola Jokic as his FIBA EuroBasket 2025 journey ended as Finland shocked Serbia 92-86 to defeat one of the favorites for the title. The Joker battled to produce a big stat line of 33 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals for an efficiency of 34, but couldn't overcome inspired Finland.

    Stunner: Susijengi shock Serbia in Round of 16

    Giannis Antetokounmpo had a monstrous showing in Greece's 84-79 win to advance into the last eight. The Greek Freak scored 37 points on a stellar 18-of-21 shooting, also grabbing 10 rebounds for an efficiency of 37 as Hellas' dreams live on.

    We witnessed another big upset as Georgia downed France 80-70 to earn the right of shooting for the Semi-Finals. Kamar Baldwin was Georgia's driving force from the backcourt, coming up with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 made three-pointers for an efficiency of 30.
