    Jokic magic sends Serbia through; Türkiye survive against Bosnia & Herzegovina

    Nikola Jokic was the star of the show as he guided Serbia to the Second Round with a 97-73 win over Switzerland in Fribourg.

    The Denver Nuggets big man led the way with 22 points and 14 rebounds, going 6-for-13 from the floor as the Serbians looked comfortable throughout, despite a decent showing from the Swiss. Alexander Schumacher had 19 for the hosts.

    Türkiye were made to sweat but eventually overcame Bosnia & Herzegovina 82-75 on the road.

    Trailing going into the fourth quarter, the Turkish side found their warrior spirit to overpower the hosts and executed well down the stretch when it mattered, as Cedi Osman led the way with 15 points and 11 boards. Alperen Sengun added 14. Luka Garza led the home side with 27 points.

    Tubelis stars as Lithuania advance along with Italy, who beat Iceland

    A stunning second quarter propelled Lithuania to the Second Round of the Qualifiers, as they downed Great Britain 105-85 in Klaipeda, with the result also assuring Italy's passage to the next phase.

    Jakucionis, Buzelis shine on debut to send Lithuania through

    After a high-scoring first quarter, Lithuania gradually edged further ahead before an 18-0 blitz late in the second period settled the tie. Azuolas Tubelis had 21 points to lead Lithuania, with Myles Hesson leading all scorers with 22 for the Brits.

    Despite being guaranteed qualification, Italy pressed forward and convincingly dispatched Iceland 102-83 in Reykjavik.

    A fairly competitive first quarter was followed by Italian mastery, as they led from the early stages of the second onwards to bag the win, shooting an impressive 53 percent from the floor. Tommaso Baldasso led five players in double figures for the winners with 16 points.

    Martin Hermannson led the attack for Iceland with 22 points.

    Romania stun Greece in Group B; Montenegro edge Portugal on the road

    Romania bagged their second win of the Qualifiers as they shocked Greece with a 73-66 win in a pulsating Group B encounter.

    Daron Russell was the hero, leading Romania with 20 points in Oradea. Giannoulis Larentzakis amassed 16 for the Greeks, who drop to 3-2.

    Montenegro defeated Portugal 72-68 in Matoshinhos to keep Group B alive into the final round of games.

    A strong first 20 minutes proved to be the difference, as Montenegro took a commanding 36-21 advantage and never looked back. Igor Drobnjak led the victors with 18 points on 50 percent shooting. Trevante Williams paced Portugal with a game-high 21.

    Ukraine power past Georgia to go through; Spain emphatically beat Denmark

    Ukraine stamped their ticket to the Second Round of the Qualifiers after they overcame Georgia 95-76 in Riga.

    The Ukrainians established their dominance from the early stages of the first quarter, leading by as many as 23 points en route to the win. Svi Mykhailiuk paced the winners with 28 points.

    Marcquise Reed led the Georgians with 18 before being ejected in the first half.

    Even though their qualification was already secured, Spain refused to take its foot off the gas as they brushed Denmark aside 109-81 in Madrid.

    Pierre Oriola led a balanced scoring attack for the Spaniards with 20 points as four players registered double figures, including Hugo Gonzalez, who added 16. Jermaine Webb led the winless Danes with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
