Seeds set for EuroLeague Women Regular Season, Qualifiers draws

    2026 champions Fenerbahce are among the top seeds

    The participating clubs have been seeded ahead of next week's draws.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The seedings for the 2026-27 EuroLeague Women season have now been confirmed, ahead of the draws for the Regular Season and Qualifiers.

    Reigning champions Fenerbahce Opet headline the top seeded teams, alongside ZVVZ USK Praha, Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring and Casademont Zaragoza, who will once again host the Final Six.

    Teams will be split into four groups of four for the Regular Season, with 12 direct entrants, as announced in the 2026-27 season lineup, with the remaining four spots decided via the Qualifiers.

    The seedings are based on the three-year ranking of clubs in the European Club Competitions.

    Clubs from Seed 2 and Seed 3 will meet in the Semi-Finals of each single-elimination bracket, with the winner advancing to face the Seed 1 club in the Final for a place in the Regular Season.

    The Semi-Final matchups of the Qualifiers will take place on Wednesday, September 23, before the Finals are played on Wednesday, September 30.

    The winner of each Qualifiers path will progress to the Regular Season of EuroLeague Women, while the losing clubs will automatically be seeded for the EuroCup Women Regular Season.

    In the draw for the Regular Season, a maximum of one club from the same country can be in the same group.

    All draws for the 2026-27 club competitions will take place on Thursday, July 16 in Munich, Germany, and will be streamed live on the FIBA YouTube channel.
