MUNICH (Germany) - The club and country rankings for European women's club competitions have been updated following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

Based on a rolling three-year cycle of results across EuroLeague Women and EuroCup Women, the updated rankings reflect performances from the 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 campaigns.

Meanwhile CIMSA CBK Mersin retained third place - helped by the Turkish club making history with a first-ever EuroCup Women trophy.

The most successful mover inside the Top 10 is Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring who jump nine place and into sixth place after reaching the EuroLeague Women Final on their return to the competition for 2025-26.

Also on an upward trajectory, Casademont Zaragoza moved up three spots into fifth after a third-place finish at the EuroLeague Women Final Six on home soil. Spar Girona and Basket Landes also punched their maiden Final Six tickets and were rewarded with rises of four places into ninth and 10th, respectively.

Other eye-catching climbs were achieved by Greek duo Panathinaikos A.C. who rode up 17 places, with Athinaikos Qualco proudly taking the label of the highest new entry at 31st after they made a stunning run to the EuroCup Women Final.

In terms of the country rankings, the performance of each club feeds into the combined results for their relevant nation over the same three-year cycle.

There have been two significant changes in the top five of the country rankings, with Spain overtaking France and landing in second place, and Czechia leapfrogging Italy into fourth place.

Romania emerged as the big winners in the update having entered the Top 10 at the expense of Great Britain, with a handful of other nations - namely Lithuania, Germany and Serbia - building momentum towards achieving that same goal.

The updated rankings will be used in determining the team quotas and draw seedings for the 2026-27 EuroLeague Women and EuroCup Women seasons, with the participating clubs to be confirmed in July.

The draws for both competitions will take place on Thursday, July 16 in Munich.
