MUNICH (Germany) - The last week of EuroLeague Women Second Round action has arrived and there is still plenty to play for as the curtain gets ready to fall ahead of the Play-Ins.
There are some super matchups to look forward to and not least what is shaping up to be something of a winner-takes-all in the fight to progress between Umana Reyer Venezia and Valencia Basket Club.
There is also an intriguing situation for Beretta Famila Schio and Tango Bourges Basket who will try to squeeze out a Play-Ins place in Group E when they go up against each other.
All six games will be played in what promises to be a box-office Wednesday, February 4.

Safe Pick🔒
With this being the last gameday of the Second Round, it makes everything even more interesting. There is still plenty to play for for some teams, while others already know their fate, and that is where my safe pick comes from this time. Fenerbahce Opet and Basket Landes both know they are heading to the Semi-Final Play-Ins, so this might be an opportunity for key players to rest. Because of this, I'm backing the home win for Fenerbahce.
50/50🪙
Games do not get much bigger than Beretta Famila Schio versus Tango Bourges Basket this week, with the winner progressing and the loser being eliminated. This one genuinely could go either way, but if I had to pick a side, I would lean towards Schio. At home, they are a very different team.
Wildcard 🃏
For my wildcard this week, I am going with Flammes Basket Carolo to close out their campaign with a win over ZVVZ USK Praha. The Czech side tend to play their best basketball when they are under pressure, but with qualification locked in last week, that edge may not quite be there. Carolo, meanwhile, have surprised a lot of people this season, and that drive to prove themselves will push them to the final buzzer. I expect them to want to go out with a bang, and one final home win for the fans would be the perfect way to do it.
