MUNICH (Germany) - We head into the penultimate week of First Round action in EuroLeague Women with more tickets for the next phase waiting to be punched and the unpredictable nature of the competition continuing to haunt those testing their prediciton skills.

There are three unbeaten teams remaining in the competition, with Fenerbahce Opet, Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring and Spar Girona still flying high four weeks in and hoping to stay perfect in Week 5.

The week week's action is headlined by what could be another box-office epic between title frontrunners Fenerbahce Opet and Valencia Basket Club. Fans are certainly in for a treat if both teams serve up the kind of blockbuster game that we witnessed on Spanish soil earlier in the campaign.

    Expert Picks

This season we're calling on the one-two punch of FIBA's global women's basketball specialist Paul Nilsen and EuroLeague Women lead commentator Mark Mills for their predictions.

This week it's Paul back on duty with his Gameday 5 predictions.

    Safe Pick🔒

There's only one game that looks to be absolutely locked in and that is Tango Bourges Basket beating VBW Gdynia. Although the one note of caution is that Bourges have blown spectacularly hot and cold all season and even during the Qualifiers. However, a lack of Gdynia firepower means it's unlikley they'll take down their hosts.

    50/50🪙

There are too many to mention and not least the huge clash between Fenerbahce Opet and Valencia Basket Club which could be a repeat of the classic from earlier in the season. However I feel the most difficult to call is Basket Landes facing CIMSA CBK Mersin. The former are chasing a mind-blowing four wins in a row and Mersin won that crazy game last week at home to Reyer. Have they turned a corner or is it a false dawn? I have absolutely no idea!

    Wildcard 🃏

In truth, it doesn't feel like there are too many wildcard choices. But if forced to come up with something, what about Flammes Carolo Basket upsetting Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring in Istanbul? They played a close game last time and the French club have made people sit up and take notice with their work so far.
