MUNICH (Germany) - Kayla McBride has confirmed her place as one of the most impactful EuroLeague Women players of the modern era after reaching an incredible 2,000 points in the competition.
The guard netted 18 points and that was enough for her to reach the eye-catching landmark in just her 128th game, as Fenerbahce Opet defeated Spar Girona in Game 1 of the Semi-Final Play-Ins.
McBride's overall points tally of 2,009 puts her at 24th in the all-time scoring list - and follows in the path of teammate, Emma Meesseman, who achieved the same feat in the last game of the Second Round.
A three-time EuroLeague Women champion, McBride first captured the silverware with UMMC Ekaterinburg in 2019 and then won consecutive titles with Fenerbahce in 2023 and 2024 - being crowned Final Four MVP in the latter.
