    MUNICH (Germany) - Umana Reyer Venezia escaped will head into the EuroLeague Women winter break on a high after only just escaping a shock loss in the last action of 2025, while Valencia Basket Club and Fenerbahce Opet both flexed their muscles on the road.

    Venezia had to come back from a double-digit deficit to get it done at the death against DVTK HUNTHERM, Valencia put on a late show at Basket Landes and Fenerbahce had far too much scoring power for Casademont Zaragoza.

    On Wednesday night, Mariam Coulibaly put her name up in lights with a stunning show for Spar Girona as they took another Second Round success, while both Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring and Beretta Famila Schio got themselves back on a winning note.

    Reyer rise up under pressure; Valencia and Fenerbahce road joy

    Reyer will know how damaging a loss against DVTK could have been to their hopes of making it to Final Six, but having been down by 9 points in the closing minutes, they dug deep to produce what could prove to be a dramatic and priceless 83-81 win.

    Lorela Cubaj was the main instigator of the success, finishing with a super smart and near double-double of 14 points and 9 rebounds. The Italian national team center was supported by top scorer Joyner Holmes with 15 points and Kaila Charles who made noise with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

    Valencia were also put under severe pressure in Mont-de-Marsan as local favorites Basket Landes looked to utilize their noisy crowd and great home record. But the visitors resisted and got stronger as the game unfolded, eventually collecting a 66-57 success.

    That meant they returned to winning ways and improved to 5-3. It was Leonie Fiebich who starred with 13 points, 6 boards and 3 assists.

    Fenerbahce look like the team that can't be stopped heading into 2026 after breezing past Zaragoza 95-64. A scorching 32-15 salvo set the tone for the unbeaten juggernauts, with Megan Gustafson excelling under the hoop.

    She stepped off court with a terrific 27 points to her name, while frontcourt partner Emma Meesseman weighed in with 14 points, 11 boards and 5 assists. Iliana Rupert also lit it up with 16 points to showcase the depth in the paint.

    Coulibaly masterclass; Schio and Galatasaray back on a winning track

    Mariam Coulibaly was the centerpiece of an 83-68 win for Spar Girona against Flammes Carolo Basket as she showed out with a monumental display. The center stepped off court with a blistering performance efficiency valuation of 39 after contributing 30 points and 14 rebounds.

    Girona also relied on a brilliant cameo from Lithuanian magician, Juste Jocyte. The young talent netted a super 24 points, as well as 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

    Schio hit top gear and that left Praha trailing in their wake as they recorded a convincing 99-78 win. Jessica Shepard was the main architect of the victory, racking up a stellar 8 of 8 from the field on her way to 16 points and also adding 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

    Meanwhile, Maria Conde also caught the eye with 16 points and 9 assists as the Italian side improved to 5-3.
