    The Spanish ace hits a new high point in her EuroLeague Women career.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Alba Torrens passed a significant EuroLeague Women milestone on Wednesday night after reaching 2,000 EuroLeague points in the competition.

    Stepping out for Valencia Basket Club in their 86-74 victory at Uni Gyor, the Spanish winger scored 13 points and that was enough for her to reach the impressive landmark.

    Her overall points tally now stands at 2,004 in 204 games and she is currently 22nd in the all-time scoring list. Torrens is the second highest Spanish scorer in EuroLeague Women having also recently moved past Laia Palau who dropped 1986 points.

    The only Spanish player to have scored more is Amaya Valdemoro who netted 2,296 points.

    Torrens is a six-time EuroLeague Women champion, having first landed the prestigious silverware with Perfumerias Avenida in 2011, then with Galatasaray in 2014 before capturing a rush of winners' medals with UMMC Ekaterinburg in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021.
