    Zaragoza will be one of three Spanish clubs competing in the Second Round

    There are now 12 teams left in the hunt to be crowned champions.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The Second Round groups for the 2024-25 EuroLeague Women season have now been set after KGHM BC Polkowice and Perfumerias Avenida completed the lineup, on Wednesday.

    Two-time defending champions Fenerbahce Opet are among the 12 clubs to advance to the next phase - as part of the revamped competition format - with six different countries represented.

    Avenida and Polkowice clinch last two Second Round tickets

    The top three clubs from Groups A and B combine to form Group E, while the same applies to Groups C and D in making up Group F. All results from the First Round have been carried over, with the groups crossing over to play the remaining teams in the same home-and-away format.

    The groups for the Second Round are as follows:

    Group E: Beretta Famila Schio (ITA), Basket Landes (FRA), Perfumerias Avenida (ESP), CBK Mersin (TUR), Tango Bourges Basket (FRA), Zabiny Brno (CZE)

    Group F: Fenerbahce Opet (TUR), Casademont Zaragoza (ESP), KGHM BC Polkowice (POL), Valencia Basket Club (ESP), ZVVZ USK Praha (CZE), Umana Reyer Venezia (ITA)

    Following a one-week break, the Second Round will commence on December 11 with two gamedays to close out the calendar year.

    There will be six weeks of action in total, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the Semi-Final Play Ins, while the teams that finish in third and fourth in each group will contest the Quarter-Final Play Ins.

    Meanwhile, the four clubs that finished bottom of their respective groups in the First Round - DVTK HUNTHERM, Olympiacos, Villeneuve d'Ascq LM and Uni Gyor - will now enter the EuroCup Women competition at the Play-Off Round 1 stage.
