The Final Phase of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 will take place in Ljubljana, commencing the on-court action with the Quarter-Finals on June 22 and followed by a rest day for all teams.

The Semi-Finals will be played on June 24, with the Final and the Third-Place Game taking place on June 25, alongside the Classification Games to determine qualification for future FIBA events.

The qualification implications for the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments and the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournaments are as follows:
Olympic Qualifying Tournaments
  • There are six slots for European teams at the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. With France qualified for the event directly as hosts of the Olympic Games, the final standings at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 will determine the remaining five European teams.

To determine the final standings, the four losers of the Quarter-Finals will play the Classification Games for the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments on June 24.

The two winners will play for 5th place in the Qualification Game for the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament on June 25.

  • The final standings at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 will also be the reference point for FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournament berths, with four places reserved for European teams.

The European list of World Cup Pre-Qualifying Tournament participants will depend on the performances of the European teams at the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.

Should all six European teams participating in the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments qualify for Paris 2024, the next four best-ranked teams at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 will fill the berths for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournaments.

Teams qualified for the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments will only take part in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournaments if they do not qualify for the Olympic Games. These teams would count towards the European quota of four teams.
