CARACAS (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019) — The Venezuelan Basketball Federation (FVB, for its Spanish acronym) added point guard Gregory Vargas to their roll call for the second window, which will take place this month.

With this announcement, Venezuela would be reinforcing their guard positions, which already count on Heissler Guillent.

Vargas currently plays in Spain's Liga ACB, with Fuenlabrada, and has recent experience in the Israeli and French leagues.

His last appearance with the Venezuelan national team at a FIBA tournament was in the most recent edition of the AmeriCup.

In this window, Venezuela will face Chile on February 23 and Colombia on the 26.
