CHISINAU (Moldova) - There have been six different winners in the past six editions of the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship, Division C and this year's tournament in Chisinau promises yet another unpredictable event.

Out of the seven teams set to compete for the crown in the Moldovan capital, the trio of Cyprus, Georgia and Scotland are already part of the rotating cast of recent champions. Meanwhile, the remaining four teams – Gibraltar,  Malta, Moldova, and Wales – would be more than happy to join the club.
