Kursk stay perfect with statement win, while Schio keep QF hopes alive

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Dynamo Kursk signalled their intent with an emphatic 49-73 triumph on the road against ZVVZ USK Prague.

The Russian side are the only unbeaten side in the competition and improved to 12-0 with an impressive display at both ends of the floor.

Elena Kirillova top scored with 16 points, while Nnemkadi Ogwumike contributed 6 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists in an all-round display.

"I think we played a very good game today," declared Angel McCoughtry.

"We played what we wanted to play and everything worked perfectly - that is reflected in the score."

With their hopes of advancing hanging in the balance, Famila Schio produced the goods to defeat BLMA 70-53 with both sides now at 6-6.

Victory for the French side would have punched their spot in the Last Eight but Schio now have the slight advantage through claiming the head-to-head.

Fenerbache improved to 9-3 with a 71-60 success against Wisla Can-Pack as Jantel Lavender neared a double-double with 14 points and 8 boards in the win.

Meanwhile, in Group B, Perfumerias Avenida edged closer to a place in the next round after securing an 84-67 victory at home to Uniqa Sopron.

Jelena Milovanovic led the way with a 23-point haul with Adaora Elonu providing valuable support with 19 points along with 6 boards.

Nadezhda are assured of their place in the Quarter-Finals and moved to 9-3 with a 69-61 win against Bourges, who now drop to 6-6.

Elizabeth Williams tallied a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds with Nadezhda second behind group winners, UMMC Ekaterinburg.
