Fenerbahce complete perfect season with quadruple crown

ISTANBUL (Türkiye) - Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding have posted a perfect campaign with a stunning trophy quadruple and it's something only ever accomplished once previously in the EuroLeague Women modern era.

Having won SuperCup Women at the start of the 2023-24  campaign, the Istanbul giants went on to win the Turkish Cup, conquered EuroLeague Women once again and signed off with a Turkish Championship title.

Fenerbahce won SuperCup Women last September for the very first time with a devastating 109-52 success at LDLC ASVEL Feminin. Napheesa Collier was crowned MVP of the event after racking up 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Collier would of course put on an even bigger in this month's EuroLeague Women Final when she dropped 33 points in a dominant 106-73 triumph against Villeneuve d'Ascq LM.

Sandwiched between those two successes at the continental level, Fenerbahce beat Cukurova Basketbol Mersin in the Turkish Cup and then eased past their rivals to wrap up the Turkish Championship with a blistering 24-point success in the last game of the Play-Offs.

Only UMMC Ekaterinburg had ever won SuperCup Women, EuroLeague Women and both their domestic Cup and Championship titles in the same season. That came during the 2018-19 season when they had current Fenerbahce standouts Emma Meesseman and Kayla McBride on their roster.
