Who should win the Coach of the Year award?

MUNICH (Germany) - With voting for the EuroLeague Women Awards now open, fans can help to choose which play-caller they want to see crowned as the 2023-24 Coach of the Year.

There have been some historic performances and eye-catching campaigns for many clubs, some of which are still chasing the coveted EuroLeague Women title.

Here's everything you need to know before you cast your vote in the poll below. Who are you giving the green light to this year?

Valerie Garnier (Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding)

Following on from Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding's finest hour last season when they captured that previously elusive first title was always going to be tricky. But, Garnier has impressed during her second spell with the Istanbul juggernauts. They've looked like champions in waiting under her stewardship and are still the team to beat. The French coach will now look to get it done and deliver another title at Final Four.

Peter Volgyi (DVTK HUN-Therm)

Perhaps the fairytale of the entire year and one of the most outstanding of recent times, Volgyi incredibly navigated DVTK HUN-Therm all the way from the Qualifiers to game three of the Quarter-Finals. Just their second season in EuroLeague Women, he delivered history with a first post-season participation and his players thriving from the team concept, working incredibly hard on defense and causing surprise after surprise.

Georgios Dikaioulakos (Beretta Famila Schio)

Having performed heroics with Beretta Famila Schio last season to propel them to their first Final Four and a creditable third-place  finish, Dikaioulakos almost repeated the feat. The experienced Greek coach took Schio to a game three with Praha in the Quarter-Finals in what was a campaign of two halves. The second part of the season was spectacular with Schio one of the form clubs in the competition.

Carlos Cantero Morales (Casademont Zaragoza)

Masterminding what has universally been described as a Cinderella first season in the competition, Casademont Zaragoza have thrived under the watchful eye of the playcaller. The team basketball and especially the relentless defense was the foundation for an amazing start and a campaign that saw them make the Quarter-Finals for the first time and culminated in a game three-decider with Cukurova Mersin Basketbol.

Natalia Hejkova (ZVVZ USK Praha)

The legendary five-time EuroLeague Women winner and FIBA Hall of Fame member has done it again, guiding ZVVZ USK Praha to yet another Final Four. Winners of Group B during the Regular Season, Praha were super consistent and played some nice team basketball with an arguably a deeper rotation than in previous seasons. A trailblazer for female coaches in Europe, Hejkova will use her know-how and experience again in pursuit of silverware.

Rachid Meziane (Villeneuve d'Ascq LM)

After the incredible historic high last summer of taking Belgium to a first ever FIBA Women's EuroBasket title, the stock of Meziane continues to soar. The French coach has now taken Villeneuve d'Ascq LM to their first-post season, not only racking up a first Quarter-Finals place, but now they find themselves getting ready to proudly step out at Final Four too. It's been an incredible ride and it's not over yet.
