Olympic Channel to stream FIBA Esports Open II action

MIES (Switzerland) - The Olympic Channel will be streaming the last two weekends of the FIBA Esports Open 2020 II. Offering four days of live production, this will be the first time that the Olympic Channel will air a FIBA esports event.

The Europe Conference will have its games on December 12-13 streamed live while the Americas Conference will be shown December 19-20.

A total of 48 games involving 29 teams and with more than 200 players from the continents of Europe and the Americas will be taking part and for the first time in a FIBA Esports Open event, one team will be competing with a mixed roster, coming from the USA.

Teams vying for honors in the FIBA Esports Open 2020 II will do so online with PlayStation 4 while using the NBA2K Pro-AM mode. Each team will consist of seven players, five on the court and two reserves.

The FIBA Esports Open 2020 II tipped off in November with Australia winning the Southeast Asia/Oceania  Conference. Cote d'Ivoire prevailed in the Africa Conference and Saudi Arabia won the Middle East Conference.
