Europe ready for FIBA Esports Open II spotlight this weekend

MIES (Switzerland) - A record number of countries will be in action in the Europe Conference of the FIBA Esports Open II, with 17 national teams from across the continent set to battle for continental glory from December 12-13, 2020.

An action-packed weekend promises plenty of excitement with defending champions Italy spearheading the ambitious European lineup that features plenty of potential challengers.

Competition in the Group Phase, split across Saturday and Sunday, will be particularly fierce, with only two teams progressing from each of the four groups and stakes will only rise on Sunday afternoon with the start of the Play-Offs.

All of the games will streamed from the FIBA Esports Studio in Riga, Latvia with end-to-end coverage of all Group Phase and Play-Off matchups in Europe.

Fans will be able to watch the action live on FIBA's FacebookTwitch and YouTube channels, while all of the best plays and memorable moments will be available across all of our social media platforms.

You can find detailed information about the weekend's action in Europe in the standings and schedule pages of the website.
