    GUANGZHOU (2016 FIBA 3x3 World Championships) - Professional Ukrainian dunker Dmitry 'Smoove' Krivenko won gold in the dunk contest of the 2016 FIBA 3x3 World Championships in Guangzhou, China on 15 October 2016.

    Krivenko defeated Alfonzo McKinnie (USA) in the final 86-70.

    McKinnie struck silver and Marco Favretto (Italy) earned a bronze medal.

    It was the first time ever the dunk contest of the FIBA 3x3 World Championships was open to professional dunkers.
