Argentina bets on experience for the FIBA Women's AmeriCup

For the competition that will be played August 6-13 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Argentine coach bet on experience. All the players included on the list have experience in FIBA competitions and seven of the 12 players were part of the team that took the bronze medal in the Women’s AmeriCup 2015, in Edmonton, Canada.
Argentina will be part of Group A of the Women’s AmeriCup, along with Virgin Islands, Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia, meanwhile Group B of the competition is composed of Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Paraguay and Cuba.
Argentina will begin its participation in the continental competition against Virgin Islands on August 6.
The best two teams from each group will advance to the Semi-Finals, and the top-three teams from the championship will earn tickets to the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2018 in Spain.
