MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers continued on Sunday with plenty of drama to start Gameday 4.
There were some impressive individual displays, too, as some helped their respective nations book spots into the Second Round.

There was no arguing the game of the day in Bonn as Germany prevailed over Croatia in an overtime classic, 91-89, as both teams advanced alongside Israel. Johannes Thiemann played a big role in the win with a big double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, along with 3 assists for the daily high for efficiency with a rating of 33.
Teammate Oscar Da Silva did his bit off the bench, too, with his own efficient helping including a double-double after posting 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting along with 11 rebounds, 3 assists and a block.
Meanwhile, Jaleen Smith was on the wrong end of the result for Croatia, despite the guard coming close to the first triple-double of the campaign with a stat-line of 12 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.
Bogic Vujosevic came even closer to the triple-double feat after dishing an incredible 13 assists to go with 24 points and 9 boards to help deliver Austria's first victory as they defeated Netherlands on the road.
There is also a repeat inclusion for Finland's Olivier Nkamhoua after the forward helped the Susijengi advance to the Second Round with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals in their second success over Belgium.
