MUNICH (Germany) - The opening games of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Round took place on Wednesday, with thrilling games and incredible performances.

Here are the top-performing players from the first pile of Second Round contests, and as usual, you can vote for your favourite below.

Peristeri Betsson sent a strong message that they can beat any team in this competition. They did so in the Regular Season opener against the holders, Bilbao, and again on Wednesday against Casademont Zaragoza. Jake Van Tubbergen contributed a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds - adding 3 steals - leading the Greek side to a 92-80 victory.

KK Bosna BH Telecom have had to adjust their squad for the Regular Season due to the loss of Chase Audige, but if they perform as they did against CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea, then they will be contenders to advance to the Play-Offs. The man at the heart of their 84-79 victory over the Romanians was Edin Atic, who led Bosna with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

While Atic and his Bosna side were successful, Francisco Amarante and his Sporting CP side were not, as they fell 94-79 to Surne Bilbao Basket. Amarante shot 10-for-15 from the floor for a season-high 25 points, along with 10 rebounds in an admirable performance.

PAOK's Cleveland Melvin takes home November's MVP honor

FIBA Europe Cup's November MVP, Cleveland Melvin, isn't taking his foot off the gas in December as his explosive offensive prowess was again on display in PAOK BC's 101-70 win over BC Prievidza. Melvin hit five three-pointers for 27 points, and he pulled down 6 boards in a convincing opening Second Round game.

Bryson Williams was the orchestrator behind Pallacanestro Reggiana's impressive 94-90 road win against Cedevita Junior. He played his part alongside the prolific Jaylen Barford by going 9-for-10 from the field and going one rebound shy of a double-double, instead settling for 20 points and 9 boards.
