MUNICH (Germany) - Cleveland Melvin has earned himself the monthly FIBA Europe Cup MVP honor for November after guiding PAOK BC to three wins.
The forward averaged 22.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in November; helping the Greek side to secure their spot in the Second Round.
Melvin shot a deadly 65.4 percent from the field and an equally impressive 54.7 percent from three-point range on 14 field goal attempts per contest.
He started the month with 20 points and 7 rebounds in their 77-75 win over BC Trepca, followed by 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in PAOK’s 104-96 victory against Anwil Wloclawek.
The American forward ended the month of November with his FIBA Europe Cup-high of 26 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in an incredible 88-87 win over Basketball Lowen Braunschweig that sealed their spot in the Second Round.
Melvin currently leads PAOK in scoring at 18.0 points and is third in rebounds, pulling down 4.6 per game in this season's FIBA Europe Cup.
