    MUNICH (Germany) - The opening week of the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season was packed with highlights, with many superb individual performances.

    Below are the standout players from the opening week, and you can have your say on who was your favorite below.

    American Jacob Groves was outstanding for PUMPA Basket Brno, as he exploded for 33 points, hitting four three-pointers, and pulled down 7 rebounds for an efficiency rating of 35. He helped the Czech side get their FIBA Europe Cup season off to the best possible start as they toppled BC Kutaisi 2010 84-66.

    An impressive runner from Luka Scuka with 1.2 seconds left handed Basketball Lowen Braunschweig a thrilling 98-97 overtime win over Anwil Wloclawek. That clutch play was part of a 30-point showing from the Slovenian, who hit four three-pointers and got three steals for a rating of 33.

    Despite CS Valcea 1924 falling 91-72 in their Regular Season opener to RASTA, Emmanuel Lecomte was outstanding, as the Belgian guard had 24 points on 75 percent shooting along with 6 assists and 3 steals in a losing effort.

    Nigel Hawkins was the star for Anorthosis Famagusta as they grabbed an impressive 102-94 road win over Bakken Bears. The guard got a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds to go with 3 assists for an efficiency rating of 28.

    Trefl Sopot were impressive in their opening-night win over Azerbaijani newcomers Neftchi IK. Mikolaj Witlinski went 9-for-13 from the field as he posted a double-double of 18 points, 12 rebounds, along with 2 steals in the 92-63 victory.
