Stivine Tchiakpe (BENIN)
Tchiakpe was the driving force that propelled Benin to the final round of the FIBA U18 Women's Afrobasket tournament.
She scored six points before an injury forced her off the court during a rough afternoon by her standards against Mali.
Eveline Toyounon (Cameroon)
Toyounon is Cameroon's best player in this tournament. In their opening 61–30 win over Senegal, she led all players with 26 points and had the highest efficiency rating in the game. She also had the highest individual scoring output of any player in the group stage so far, establishing herself as Cameroon's clear go-to scorer as they advance through Group C alongside Nigeria.
Maimouna Traore (MALI)
Traoré was the standout performer, finishing as the game's efficiency leader with a rating of 28. She also led Mali in assists with 14. This means she set up a basket roughly every couple of minutes she was on the floor, running Mali's offense at a blistering pace against the overmatched Benin team.
Malak Chehid (TUNISIA)
Chehid has been the heart and soul of the Tunisian team, leading them with 14 points, 7.5 rebounds, and three assists per game.
Favour Mary Anayi (NIGERIA)
Through two games, Anari has been the most consistent standout for Nigeria's women's team, excelling in scoring, rebounding, and playmaking, especially in the opener.
Hania Hassabelnaby (EGYPT)
Based on the first two games so far, Egypt's best performer is Hania Hassabelnaby. She led Egypt with 24 points in their opening group-phase win over Morocco on Aug 5, with a score of 89-36. With 24 points, she led all Egyptian scorers and had a team-high.
Marlyne Esther Adahe (COTE D'IVOIRE)
Marlyne Esther Adahe has been Côte d'Ivoire's standout player throughout the tournament thus far. The team is 2-0 in Group A after their opening blowout win over the Central African Republic. She averaged 20.5 points in the first two games.
Melissa Taliba (UGANDA
Melissa Margareth Taliba, a forward, has been Uganda's standout so far. She was central to their opening 84–57 win over Kenya. She was relentless inside, constantly forcing Kenya into difficult defensive situations.
Rihanna Nyalando (KENYA)
Rihanna Mercy Nyalando was Kenya's top performer in the opening game. She led the team with an efficiency rating of 12, which was the best among all players in the game in terms of points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. However, Kenya lost to Uganda 84-57.
Céline Hortense Gomis (SENEGAL)
Gomis had the highest efficiency rating of any player in Senegal's first two games, averaging 7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
