MANILA (Philippines) – The United States (USA) continued their dominant run on the early stages of the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series 2026 after defeating Lithuania (LTU) 17-15 in a thrilling overtime Final to capture the title at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Manila 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
Powered once again by tournament MVP Mikaylah Williams, USA secured their second FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series stop victory in a row after surviving a gritty Lithuanian side that pushed them to the limit in a dramatic championship game.
Lithuania struck first in the Final and showed throughout that they were more than capable of matching USA’s physicality and intensity. They led 5-2 early before USA slowly settled into rhythm behind their trademark defense and athleticism.
USA tied the game at 9-all midway through the contest before taking a slim 12-10 advantage late. Lithuania, however, refused to back down. Kamile Nacickaite-van der Horst drilled a clutch banked two-pointer in the closing seconds to knot the score at 15-all and force overtime.
In the extra frame, Joyce Edwards gave USA the lead before Mikaylah Williams knocked down the decisive mid-range jumper to seal the 17-15 victory and spark celebrations for the Americans.
Williams finished with 6 points in the Final and was later named MVP after averaging 7.4 points per game while also leading the event in highlights per game and total player value.
