Strahinja Stojacic leads Ub to their sixth World Tour win of 2025

SHENZHEN (China) – Ub capped an exciting tournament with a hard-earned 22-19 win over Raudondvaris Hoptrans in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Shenzhen 2025, pocketing their sixth World Tour title of the pro season.

The Serbians entered Shenzhen looking to bounce back after they failed to finish among the top 4 teams in WT Shanghai. Things didn't start well, though, as Ub dropped their first game against Partizan in pool play. They managed to right the ship and sweep their remaining games en route to the Final, where the Lithuanians lay in wait.

In the Final, Raudondvaris Hoptrans pushed Ub hard. They traded buckets in the first couple of minutes before Ub wrested momentum thanks to a 5-0 run. The Serbians looked like they would cruise to the win after being up 20-10, but the Lithuanians made one final rally, trimming the deficit to just 20-19 with under two minutes to go. Strahinja Stojacic, however, rose to the occasion, hitting the game-clinching two-pointer for Ub.

Stojacic was named WT Shenzhen's Most Valuable Player. He received MVP flowers from Mr. Lao Jielong, Chairman of  Starmac Entertainment & Production Limited and Shenzhen zhuixing Culture & Sports Co., Ltd., and the MVP trophy from Mr. Liang Haiyang, member of the Party Group of Bao'an District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau and Director of the District Public Culture and Sports Center.

In the individual competitions, Lachlan Anderson of Brisbane tallied 12 points with 21.64 seconds left to take the crown in the Shoot Out Contest, while Wan Lei prevailed in the Dunk Contest. Both contests were presented by the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Bao’an District, Shenzhen.
