    Day Two of the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026 continued where Day One left off with some great performances by five great stars. Who was your favorite?

    ISTANBUL (Türkiye) - After a breathtaking Day One, the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026 did not disappoint on Day Two with even more great games, a record-breaking team performance and plenty of outstanding individual showings.

    VOTE: Who will win the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026 title?

    Omer Kutluay was outstanding on Day One and the Türkiye point guard was even better in the team's second win - a comfortable 87-66 victory over Slovenia. Kutluay just missed a triple-double as he picked up 26 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists for an efficiency of 36.

    United States rolled to another victory as they blew out Japan 128-66, and the second-best performance of the day came from someone off the bench. AJ Williams totalled 25 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block for an efficiency of 33.

    The USA rout also produced the second-best showing on Day Two - and that came from early Most Valuable Player favorite Beckham Black. The American point guard scored 19 points while also chipping in 3 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals in registering an efficiency of 31.

    Things did not go as well for Simone Ventura of Italy as he tallied 29 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block for an efficiency of 30 in an 88-68 loss to France.

    Australia went into their game against Côte d'Ivoire looking to build on their opening day win over Serbia. The African U16 champions gave the Crocs all they could handle but Luke Paul produced 18 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks for a 27 efficiency in a hard-fought 78-73 win.
