MIAMI (United States) – The race for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 has entered its decisive stage with the start of the Second Round of the Americas Qualifiers this week. Every game brings the teams one step closer to the ultimate goal: earning a spot in Qatar. Only seven teams from the Americas will earn a ticket to the global show. Three teams from each group will advance directly to the World Cup, while the final spot will go to the best fourth-place team across the two groups.
