Deja vu as Zaragoza win another thriller with Landes

After riding their way to an overtime victory against Basket Landes in their season opener, Casademont Zaragoza did the double over their rivals with a dramatic 70-69 road win.

Maintaining their perfect record, they secured their Second Round slot off the back of a strong team show, led by Merritt Hempe and the leadership of Mariona Ortiz.

Fresh from being crowned October MVP, Hempe delivered again with 21 points. Ortiz handed out 9 assists, while the other cameo came from Helena Oma with 15 points and 6 boards. Basket Landes will be kicking themselves for not getting the job done down the stretch and missing some key looks at the basket.

Carolo Basket cruise into Second Round

Coline Franchelin is still lighting it up and she dished out another 12 assists as Flammes Carolo Basket stormed past CS Rapid Bucuresti 103-64. The playmaker completed a double-double with 13 points going with her dimes

The French club followed up last week's win in Valencia with a dominant display, despite Claudia Cuic doing her best to inspire Rapid with a superb 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

Parks and Prince get Athinaikos rolling

It's been a tough start to the campaign for Athinaikos Qualco, but they will be breathing a huge sigh of relief after finally getting off the mark with a 77-64 home win against Kibirkstis-TOKS.

Making their move in the second quarter to get onto the front foot, Robyn Parks and Alexis Prince impressed. The former with 26 points and Prince with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Julie Vanloo was also highly influential as the Belgian playmaker dished out 12 dimes.

Sellers shows out to inspire first win for Lublin

After opening the season with three losses, Polish side Lublin are enjoying the sweet taste of success after beating Emlak Konut 85-79.

The win came after an eye-popping line from Shyanne Sellers who continues to shine.

She delivered for her team with 24 points, 10 boards and 5 assists, while Kourtney Treffers posted her best outing in the competition with a 9 of 11 shooting effort for 19 points. The home side had to resist a late rescue mission from the visitors, with Polish national team forward Steph Mavunga starring for Emlak with 26 points.
