Spain vs Czechia - 16.30 CET

Spain have landed in the Quarter-Finals for an impressive 13th time, the second-most in the competition's history and their actual win record is staggering. They are 10 of 12 at this stage of the competition and could be about to make it 11 as they will be favorites with their quality, depth and defense which has been on show at this edition.

Czechia have secured consecutive spots in the last eight of the competition and this will be their ninth appearance in total. The co-hosts have won three of their previous eight outings in the Quarter-Finals and might just be ready to make it four after impressive performances in Brno with Julia Reisingerova and Emma Cechova a handful in the frontcourt.

Game history: Both teams met at this stage in 2013 and it resulted in a dominant 75-58 win for Spain. Although as hosts in 2017, Czechia stunned Spain by winning a group game 67-63 - only for Spain to still become champions.

Star player: Spanish legend Alba Torrens is rolling back the years with a vintage display at this edition. She's balling with as much fire as we have seen in a long time - as her 20-points against Germany demonstrated. Key matchup: Czechia have played as a team nicely, there is no doubt their main threat is the size and skills of center Julia Reisingerova. Her duel with rising star Awa Fam and maybe Raquel Carrera could be really pivotal.

X-factor: Will Spain's suffocating defense kill Czechia's ball movement and current historic success with assists? With 22 per game, it's their highest average. They've never finished with 20 plus in all 15 editions they've played.

    Did you know?

    • Spain have scored more than 75 points in each of their three games and haven’t had a longer scoring sequence in a single tournament since 2001, when they did it in four consecutive fixtures.

    • Czechia have won six of their last seven games in the competition when allowing fewer than 70 points, including two this year. But they have lost 10 of the last 11 when conceding more than 70 points

    • Alba Torrens is undefeated in the Quarter-Finals, having won all her five appearances at this phase. She has also scored 20 or more points on three of those occasions, including 29 against Czechia in 2013.

Belgium vs Germany - 19.30 CET

This will be Belgium’s seventh appearance in the Quarter-Finals and their fifth in a row which underlines the rise and rise of the Cats in the last decade or so. Also on a 10-game winning sequence in the competition, they will be favorites with guard duo Julie Vanloo and Julie Allemand impressing and Emma Meesseman moving up the gears.

Germany have qualified for the Quarter-Finals for the second consecutive edition - having only participated once previously, when they also made the Semi-Finals. Having signed off in Hamburg in front of fabulous support, the co-hosts will look to Leonie Fiebich, Luisa Geiselsoder, Alexis Peterson and rising star Frieda Buhner to shine.

Game history: The teams have never met at this stage and only once at Final Round back in 2007 when Belgium won 61-53. They also met at Paris 2024 when Germany famously won 83-69 in what was their first-ever game.

Star player: Emma Meesseman is the reigning TISSOT MVP and you wouldn't rule out a repeat. Her quality and clutch is unreal and so is her consistency. She's scored 15+ points in 14 of her last 15 games in the competition. Key matchup: The classy Julie Allemand and Alexis Peterson will lock horns in the backcourt and look to dictate tempo and pull the strings for their teams. Whoever wins this battle could have a huge impact on the result.

X-factor: The emergence of young Frieda Buhner has been huge for Germany who won twice when she had 15 points and five plus rebounds, but lost when she didn't. It's a lot of pressure, but she's proving a difference-maker.
