DEQING (China) – The stage is set for another high-level stop on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026, with the seedings and pools confirmed for FIBA 3x3 World Tour Deqing 2026 on September 26-27.
World No. 1 and top seed Ub (SRB) headline a strong 14-team field featuring some of the biggest names on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour. Miami (USA), Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) and Antwerp (BEL) round out the top four seeds, setting up another weekend of intense 3x3 basketball in what is known as China's 3x3 basketball hotbed.
Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL), Toronto (CAN), Toulouse (FRA) and Vienna (AUT) complete the top eight, while DeQing (CHN), Fuengirola (ESP), Taipei WanBao (TPE), Shibuya (JPN), Utrecht (NED) and Bochum SPARKASSE (GER) make up the rest of the field.
Pool A features top seed Ub alongside Vienna and home side DeQing. The Serbian powerhouse will enter as the highest-ranked team in the group, but Vienna's experience and DeQing's explosive offense could make for a closely contested battle.
Pool B sees Miami, which just won the FIBA 3x3 Phoenix Challenger 2026, take on Toulouse and Taipei WanBao. The American side will look to make their mark against a Toulouse team that has established itself as a regular presence on the World Tour, while Taipei will aim to make the most of their opportunity against two experienced opponents. Of course, fans are hoping to see American superstar Jimmer Fredette, who recently returned to top-flight 3x3 basketball after retiring last year.
Pool C brings together Amsterdam RABOBANK, Toronto and Shibuya. The Dutch side enter as the deepest seed on paper, but Toronto and Shibuya will both look to disrupt the established order and secure a place in the knockout rounds.
Meanwhile, Pool D is led by fourth seed Antwerp and Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, with the final spot to be determined through Qualifying Draw A.
Fuengirola, Utrecht and Bochum SPARKASSE will battle for that last Main Draw ticket, with the Qualifying Draw winner earning a place in Pool D and a chance to face two of the tournament's highest-seeded teams.
With the pools now confirmed, the road to the WT Deqing title is taking shape. The 14-team field will compete for another valuable FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop win and crucial points in the race toward the season-ending FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
