BUCHAREST (Romania) - The stage is set for another high-level stop on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026, with the seedings and pools confirmed for FIBA 3x3 World Tour Bucharest 2026 on October 10-11.
World No. 1 and top seed Ub (SRB) headline a loaded 16-team field, with Miami (USA), Baskets Bonn (GER) and WT Bucharest 2025 winners Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) rounding out the top four seeds. With established World Tour contenders and ambitious challengers spread across four pools, the road to the Bucharest title promises plenty of drama.
Ub will enter Bucharest as the team to beat, while Miami will look to make another deep run on the World Tour. Baskets Bonn will aim to add a fourth FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop win to their 2026 campaign, while Amsterdam RABOBANK want to defend the title they won last year.
Antwerp (BEL), Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL), Toulouse (FRA) and DeQing (CHN) complete the top eight, while Fuengirola (ESP), Hangzhou Jingwei (CHN), Taipei WanBao (TPE), Lausanne (SUI), Phoenix (USA), Kaunas VDU (LTU), Cluj (ROU) and Dubai (UAE) make up the rest of the field.
Ub lead Pool A
Pool A features top seed Ub alongside Hangzhou Jingwei and Kaunas VDU. The Serbian powerhouse will enter as the highest-seeded team in the group, but both Hangzhou and Kaunas will be looking to disrupt the established order and secure a place in the knockout rounds.
With only the top two teams from each pool advancing, every possession will prove crucial as the three teams battle for a spot in the Quarter-Finals.
Miami headline Pool B
Pool B sees second seed Miami matched with DeQing and home team Cluj. Miami arrive as one of the leading contenders in Bucharest and will face a pair of teams eager to make their mark on the World Tour stage.
DeQing have already established themselves as a regular presence among the world's best 3x3 basketball pro teams, while Cluj will have the added incentive of representing the host nation on home soil.
Baskets Bonn face Toulouse in Pool C
Pool C could produce plenty of fireworks, with fourth-seeded Baskets Bonn joined by Toulouse and the winner of Qualifying Draw A.
Baskets Bonn and Toulouse are both proven World Tour competitors, ensuring that the team emerging from the Qualifying Draw will have a major challenge ahead.
Qualifying Draw A features third-seeded and defending WT Bucharest winners Amsterdam RABOBANK, Lausanne and Phoenix, with the winner earning a place in Pool C and a chance to take on two established World Tour contenders.
Antwerp banner Pool D
Meanwhile, fifth seed Antwerp banner Pool D alongside Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy and the winner of Qualifying Draw B.
Antwerp will be looking to navigate a group featuring one of the most experienced teams on the circuit in Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, while the Qualifying Draw winner will have the opportunity to upset the established order.
Qualifying Draw B brings together Fuengirola (ESP), Taipei WanBao (TPE) and Dubai (UAE), with only the group winner advancing to the Main Draw.
With the pools now confirmed, the road to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Bucharest 2026 title is taking shape. The 16-team field will battle for another valuable World Tour stop win, as well as crucial points in the race toward the season-ending FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final.
From top seed Ub to the teams fighting their way through qualifying, Bucharest is set for another weekend of high-level, fast-paced 3x3 basketball.
