Players to watch at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi 2024

ABU DHABI (UAE) - You are going to be thoroughly entertained at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi 2024 on October 26-27 when some of the planet's best players put on a show. 

Let's look at the players that will leave you gobsmacked at the 13th stop on this year's insane World Tour.

 Worthy de Jong (Amsterdam)

The Paris Olympics MVP will still be smarting after the Dutch Masters had a quarter-final exit on home soil at the Amsterdam stop.

The man known worldwide as 'Hype Worthy' had a chance to put pressure on No.1 ranked Strahinja Stojacic for the crown but came away empty-handed.

He had a modest output by his crazy standards with an average of 6 ppg, so expect 3x3's greatest bucket getter to explode back to life in  Abu Dhabi.

We've seen de Jong put up numbers never before dreamed of, so don't be surprised if he throws up crazy stats during his revenge act. 

 

Dejan Majstorovic (Ub Huishan NE)

3x3's greatest winner does not get sick of stacking up the titles. The 'Maestro' has added a couple more titles with Ub Huishan NE (SRB) aiming for a third straight dub as the GOATs make a major statement. 

Front and center of their success has been the legend himself with Majstorovic having tallied the fifth most points on the World Tour 2024. 

He's cementing himself as arguably the greatest shooter we've seen with Majstorovic splashing at a ridiculous 36% clip from downtown. And he's all money when the game is on the line as you will no doubt see in Abu Dhabi.

Opponents should be scared because Majstorovic will return to a happy hunting ground, where he has had some of his greatest moments on the half-court. 

 

Nico Kaltenbrunner/Quincy Diggs (Vienna)

The last time we saw Vienna (AUT) on the World Tour, Quincy Diggs walked off with the MVP in Wuxi. 

He's not the only Austrian to have dropped the mic with speedy Nico Kaltenbrunner having also claimed top honors on this season's World Tour. 

They are a formidable duo having averaged 10 ppg combined this season and their one-two punch will leave opponents flattened in Abu Dhabi. 

 

But that's not all folks. There are other stars we just have to shout out starting with bucket getter James Parrott, who averaged an insane 8.8 ppg at Debrecen in his only World Tour event this season. 

He's not the only scoring machine with Thibaut Vervoort boasting the nickname 'Must See TV' for a reason. This dude is a sniper and coming off breaking the shoot-out record.

 

Modestas Kumpys is ready to activate 'Flight Mode', while Westher Molteni also plays above the rim. It's not all about offense because  Dulguun Enkhbat knows how to play clever D. 

And we just have to name drop Leon Fertig, who might just be 3x3's biggest secret.
