BRNO (Czechia) - Not many players have appeared at two editions of the FIBA U19 Women's Basketaball World Cup down the years, but there are plenty from the Class of 2025 that might be doing exactly that.

We've been monitoring some of the youngest players to step out in Brno and drawing up a list of 10 ballers who would be eligible to play at the 2027 event. That is of course, if their respective nations qualify.

Here's the pick of those 2008 and 2009 born players that could join the 'Double U19WWC Club'.

    1. Saniyah Hall - USA

There is no better place to start than with the TISSOT MVP. Hall was absolutely outstanding from start to finish and it is a scary-good prospect to maybe have her coming back in 2027. As she has won MVP 'young', could she also be on track to possibly do the ultimate MVP double?

Impossible to stop at times, she absolutely killed it.

    2. Jerzy Robinson - USA

The MVP of the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024, Robinson came into the competition as a leading prospect and with big expectations. While becoming World Champion again, she maybe didn't quite manage to meet the hype with limited minutes and productivity.

But she remains a class act - that's not in doubt. So watch out for the next edition! Her physical power and technical bag will sure do major damages.

    3. Madison Ryan - Australia

Super smart, Ryan played way beyond her years with a level of maturity that points to her being a super pro-baller in the longer term. With a high IQ and dedication to the Gems' team ethic, she took great shots most of the time, lit it up from long-range in some games and was dedicated defensively.

All elements that will be even better in 2027!

    4. Sitaya Fagan - Australia

There was huge interest in Fagan from the scouts and College coaches in attendance and that is no surprise, since the Gems forward was exceptional at times. Her length and athletcism stood out, but it was also her confidence in her extended shooting range that caught the eye.

She contested shots and rebounded well for the Gems also.

    5. Kinga Josepovits - Hungary

There will be huge excitement around Josepovits and her future not only at the next edition if Hungry qualify, but also in the senior side too. Her towering frame allowed her to drop anchor in the paint and she was a hard matchup for opponents.

She used pick and rolls well and with more work on her post moves, she could be a true standout.

    6. Shaila Nde - Spain

The fact that Nde was crowned as the MVP of Spain's Group in the first phase of the competition speaks volumes about how decisive her contribution was for her country.

Her powerful frame and willingness to mix up intensity and aggression with her skills at both ends of the court really bodes well for her possible return in two years.

    7. Somtochukwu Okafor - Spain

The University of Arizona commit was an essential part of Spain winning bronze after an epic show in the Third-Place Game. It was a special display as she racked up a stellar double-double.

Even if her perimeter game was not always at its best, her ability to use her strength to get downhill was vital and she was a monster on the boards.

    8. Micaela Cavalcanti - Brazil

While it wasn't a big tournament for Brazil in terms of team success, Cavalcanti was a huge positive. Already the primary playmaker, with more experience by 2027, she could be outstanding.

Balling for 30 minutes per game and looking after the ball brilliantly, she created well for teammates and only her shooting and finishing let her down.

    9. Brooke McLeod - Canada

Using her size to nice effect for Canada, McLeod was rock solid and looks like having the capacity to be more dominant if she makes a return in the future. Capturing 20 minutes per game for one of the leading teams showed her value.

With good selections on the ball, she worked hard on the glass and showcased her nice passing vision.

    10. Kate Harpring - USA

Even if daughter of former NBA player Matt Harpring was not one of the headline stars for USA, the guard showed plenty of potential to be a leader in 2027. Defensively very impressive, she found a great balance and combination of composure and intensity.

Could she eventually be a back-to-back U19 World Champion?
